Welcome to Momentum!
Momentum is a celebration of women, trans, femme, and nonbinary (WTFNB) cyclists. In our 2nd annual Momentum festival, we're expanding beyond a block party and film night to include a full week of programming that celebrates the incredible cycling community in Seattle, breaks down barriers to access, and showcases the many ways people can show up in cycling.

Send It Forward brought to you by PNW Components captures the ripple effect of progressive non-competitive mountain bike events through the eyes of the She Shreds grom squad; four 15-year old riders who's friendship, fearlessness, and pure stoke showcase the power of community and grassroots MTB events.
The Road Between Us

Set in the stunning location of Vancouver Island, Canada this film is a personal story about filmmaker Kiera McVitty's relationship with her mum, and their cycling journey together. The story is about overcoming obstacles big and small, and remembering what is important in life. Spending precious time with those that matter most.


It Takes Two To Tandem
Directed by Cet Aeppel - (PG)
Join Samantha Soriano and Jazlyn Smith as they explore the Rockies by tandem, swapping their mountain bikes for one bike built for two! What started as a joke between two friends about a tandem ride grew into a project that brought an entire crew together, celebrating the adventures, laughter, and memories made through riding bikes. Directed by an all-female team, It Takes Two To Tandem captures the joy, chaos, and connection that come from sharing the ride, reminding us all that the best days on a bike are often the ones spent with good company!
Going Solo
Directed by Keenan DesPlanques - (PG)
Kate Courtney reflects on the challenges of launching an independent mountain bike racing team while balancing professional setbacks and a significant injury. This narrative explores the journey of redefining athletic success, adjusting training strategies, and finding a sustainable path forward through long-distance endurance racing.


We Are Cyclists

In a cycling culture dominated by pro bike races and big mountain tricks, We Are Cyclists redefines what it means to belong on a bike. This short documentary traces the origin and growth of All Bodies on Bikes, from a grassroots idea into a global movement, challenging narrow, performance-driven definitions of cycling and expanding who gets to call themselves a cyclist.
Her Khaltsha
Directed by Robyn Phillips - (PG)
Her Khaltsha follows the Khaltsha Cycling Academy, the first all-girls cycling group in Khayelitsha, South Africa. Through tough training rides and races like the Cape Town Cycle Tour, these young riders push past bullying and skepticism to find freedom, confidence, and sisterhood on two wheels, inspiring other girls in their community to dream beyond their neighborhood.

Sarah Sturm navigates the physical and emotional shifts of pregnancy while balancing a career as a professional athlete. This episode explores the evolving identity and challenges of adapting professional athletic goals during a transformative life chapter.
