Momentum WTFNB 2026
Join the movement
Welcome to Momentum!
Momentum is a celebration of women, trans, femme, and nonbinary (WTFNB) cyclists. In our 2nd annual Momentum festival, we're expanding beyond a block party and film night to include a full week of programming that celebrates the incredible cycling community in Seattle, breaks down barriers to access, and showcases the many ways people can show up in cycling.

Hosted by

How We Started
The question that started it all
Brevay began with the founder, Tripp, asking a simple question during graduate school at the University of Colorado Boulder: does the stiffness of cycling shoes affect performance? The answer he found: for 99% of riders riding performance was the same whether the shoe was made of nylon, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. This research showed him how deeply the industry relied on the same materials and broken assumptions. Those results became the beginning of Brevay. We began as a challenge to the status quo.

The Launch Product
Built with Intention
The Road One is our debut product - a cycling shoe developed and produced alongside some of the most experienced footwear makers in the sport. We're building Brevay into a complete performance cycling brand - every piece of footwear and apparel will be designed with the same obsessive attention to detail and commitment to innovative and responsible materials that created the Road One.

PNW Roots
Rider to Rider
From the very beginning, we built Brevay from the ground up in Seattle: group rides, in-person events, real conversations, and rider feedback are at the core of the brand. This grassroots riding community shapes our product as much as the research does. We are a cycling brand built by and for cyclists.
